On 20 and 21 February 2026, ZAG Menschen & Perspektiven was represented by its Halle (Saale) site at the Chance Fair - one of the largest vocational training fairs in Central Germany. The event was held at the Messe-Arena Halle (Saale), where over 300 companies and institutions presented themselves. Visitors were able to meet us on site and find out about career prospects and opportunities for co-operation.

Diverse target groups and strong industry presence

The trade fair offered an impressive range of industries and institutions. In addition to personnel service providers, the police, armed forces, customs, judiciary and THW, educational institutions, warehousing and logistics companies, production companies, food manufacturers and representatives from the chemical, energy, pharmaceutical and automotive supply industries were also represented. Hospitals, care services, banks, health insurance companies, construction and trade companies, agricultural businesses, railway companies and the public sector were also on site. The programme was supplemented by vocational schools, media companies and the Federal Employment Agency.

This diversity made for an exciting environment in which a wide variety of target groups came together - from school pupils and career starters to specialists and company representatives.

Very positive response and numerous discussions

The response to the trade fair was extremely positive. Several thousand visitors streamed through the halls of the Messe Arena over the two days of the event. There was also a lively exchange at the ZAG Halle stand. Numerous discussions were held with interested parties and companies from the region.

In addition to traditional recruitment meetings, we also used the opportunity to make sales contacts. Trade fairs often offer the advantage of being able to talk directly to decision-makers from companies - something that is not always so easy with traditional initial contacts in everyday life.

Interest in jobs and co-operations

Interest was focussed both on open positions in the industrial and commercial sectors as well as on possible collaborations with companies. It was particularly pleasing that the discussions already resulted in promising contacts and concrete prospects for future collaboration.

The exact number of conversations is difficult to quantify in retrospect. What is certain, however, is that numerous interesting encounters were made, which will now be followed up.

Highlights of the trade fair

A particular highlight were two orders that resulted directly from contacts made at the trade fair.

The supporting programme also provided exciting insights: speakers included Lord Mayor Alexander Vogt, IHK President Sascha Gläßer, Minister of Education Jan Riedel and Jan Kaltofen, Managing Director of the Job Centre Halle (Saale).

A creative campaign at the stand also attracted additional attention: as part of an on-site cooperation with the German Armed Forces, our team temporarily slipped into a German Armed Forces outfit themselves - a real eye-catcher that provided a talking point and attracted many interested visitors.

Conclusion: Participation with a future

The Chance-Messe 2026 was a complete success for ZAG Halle (Saale). The combination of high visitor numbers, diverse industry contacts and concrete results clearly shows the value of such events for recruiting, sales and networking.

Voices from the team

„The Chance Fair has been one of the largest vocational training fairs in Central Germany for years. We are very proud to have been part of this great event. It shows once again that a large network is the perfect indicator of sustainable success.“ (Chris Kummer, Area Manager)
