50,000 euros for children’s hospitals in Hanover
Working together for children and young people in our local area
For us at ZAG, responsibility means more than just commercial success. It also means taking a closer look, offering support and making a difference wherever help is needed. Especially when it comes to children and young people.

That is why ZAG donates a total of 50,000 euros to two children’s hospitals in Hanover. In each case 25,000 euros will go to the Children’s Clinic at Hannover Medical School (MHH) and to the AUF DER BULT Children’s and Adolescents’ Hospital.
In this way, we aim to support the important work carried out by both organisations and help to create special moments for young patients during their treatment and recovery.
Hanover is our home
ZAG and Hanover go hand in hand. This is where our roots lie, this is where our company has grown, and this is where we still feel at home today.
For us, this sense of connection also means taking responsibility for the region and the people who live here. That is why we are particularly keen to use our donation to support two organisations that work tirelessly every day to help children, young people and their families.
„As a company, we are part of this region. That is why we want not only to fulfil our economic responsibilities, but also to give something back to the community. Supporting children and young people is particularly close to our hearts. Through our donation, we hope to make a tangible contribution to the valuable work carried out by the two children’s hospitals,“, explained Dr Eckart Gaude, CEO of ZAG
A commitment to children is deeply rooted at ZAG
Supporting children and young people is nothing new for ZAG. With our “Pro Chance” Children’s and Youth Foundation – Sylvia Daniel – Pro Chance For many years now, we have been committed to projects and initiatives that open up new horizons for young people, support their development and create opportunities for them.
With the support of the two children’s hospitals, we would like to continue this commitment whilst also focusing on an area of particular importance to children and their families: their health and well-being.
After all, a stay in hospital presents particular challenges, especially for young patients. As well as the best possible medical care, activities that provide a distraction, offer encouragement or simply create a pleasant moment can make a significant difference.

25,000 euros for the MHH Children’s Hospital
With 25,000 euros ZAG supports the Paediatric Clinic at Hannover Medical School.
The donation is intended to support projects that help young patients during their treatment and recovery and make their daily lives in hospital more positive.
25,000 euros for the AUF DER BULT Children’s and Young People’s Hospital
Further 25,000 euros go to the AUF DER BULT Children’s and Young People’s Hospital.
Here, too, we would like to help make projects possible that go beyond medical care and enhance the wellbeing of children and young people during their stay.
An evening spent together to mark a special handover
On 28 September 2026 At last, the moment had arrived: during a meal together at the Gondola in Hanover We handed over the two donation cheques in person to representatives of the children’s hospitals.
The handover took place, quite deliberately, in a small and intimate setting. Rather than a large, official event, the focus was on meeting people and exchanging ideas.
It was a wonderful opportunity to chat with one another, to find out more about the work carried out by these organisations and, above all, to say thank you to the people who work tirelessly every day to promote the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
50,000 euros to make a difference
Of course, we realise that a donation alone cannot solve all the challenges. However, it can help to make specific projects a reality and provide support to the people who work tirelessly every day on behalf of young patients.
That is exactly what we are all about.
For us, therefore, 50,000 euros is more than just a figure. Behind it lies the conviction that business success also entails social responsibility.
And if we have the chance to make a difference in our home town of Hanover, we’d like to make the most of it.
WE are ZAG – and together we can create opportunities and make a difference.
