Laura Ricottone: Time management and structure are crucial

As Managing Director at ZAG, Laura Ricottone knows that „you can achieve much more in less time“ when clear objectives and structures ensure a better quality of life and more freedom. In her job itself, flexibility was the decisive factor, she says. The same applies to her mindset: „You have to let go of doggedness – life takes its own course.“ It is important to her to strengthen the sense of „togetherness“ amongst the workforce within the company.

Thinking big – thanks in part to international projects

Among other things, Laura Ricottone previously led the „Brazil Project“ at ZAG. This involved recruiting staff from Brazil for the client, organising their accommodation and, more generally, creating an environment in which the staff from Brazil could get off to a good start in Germany. „The focus here was on adhering to quality standards for effective international mobility,“ explains Laura Ricottone.

Stress? Yes. Standstill? No.

So how does one achieve this sense of calm combined with success? „Embrace challenges, set aside preconceptions and seek out inspiring role models,„ says Laura Ricottone, emphasising that making time for oneself is also a crucial factor in the equation.
